Due to (really really annoying) “HTML” problems (because “new blogger” is crap) I’ve had to post today’s pictures and videos in several short parts. So keep scrolling down because there’s a lot today. It’s a BUMPER OHARA SPECIAL!
Yesterday Hyon Ju and I took a short bus ride north to Ohara. What a lovely place! There are too many temples to see there, so we chose the most famous, 三千院 (Sanzenin) and spent a few happy hours walking around the gardens. I tell you, these Buddhists know how to make a garden! Just being there, you feel all the stress of day-to-day life just… vanish. Here are some pictures for you. Double click on them to see the big picture with explanatory notes.
